Handcrafted copper disk wallhanging by Hanro, Christchurch. This small factory studio produced a variety of beaten copper homewares during the 1950s and 1960s, catering to mid century tastes. Manufacturer’s label afixed verso. This piece has a fluted edge and patina that shifts from golden tones in the centre to bronze on the edges. Some verdigris spots further indicate its age.
