Three bowls made in Shigaraki, Japan, with a cherry design. Likely made in the 1970s, these are handmade according to tradition, showing natural variations in the clay, making and glazing, considered to be part of the aesthetic of Shigaraki ware – shown in the images. The larger bowl has a Japanese potter’s mark. No cracks, chips or nibbles.
In perfect condition, with aesthetic imperfections.
