Bud vase made of turned blackwood by renowned local wood craftsman Derek Kerwood, with his maker’s stamp on base.
Among Kerwood’s larger commissions is the carved mural in the pavilion of Hamilton Gardens. Even this vase, in its own small way, is testament to a lifetime of woodworking experience, from the choice of blackwood to the symmetry and smooth finish of the piece. Perfect for dried stems.
